MD and MC Epic

Does anyone know the difference between an MC and MD category on the EPIC. It is usually location but they are staggered in the same area of the ship.:)

I think the only difference is the MC has the bed next to the balcony and the MD has the sofa next to the balcony.

 

Not sure though, because if that was the only difference then why wouldn't they do the same type of separation of categories for the rest of the rooms?

 

It could also have to do with which ones have the tub and which one just have the larger shower.
