Tender Tickets

For those who have sailed the Spirit - what is the process for tender tickets for St. Lucia? I know the first few will be for ship's excursions, but I'm interested in getting ashore by 8:00. Any secrets?

Book a suite, if you can't afford it..Then, I would say, get in good with the Concierge, perhaps throw them a bone or two...this is just my opinion....

We were on the first or second tender to leave and sat by ones who were not taking an excursion...so it can be done. There aren't that many that want to get off the ship at 7am. But...I would hang around the stairs one floor above the gangway...and occasionally send someone down to check things out.
