Laundry in Fort Lauderdale

Hi,

We are a family of 4 taking a 5 day cruise out of Miami returning Dec 22. Then Dec 23 we are taking a 10 day cruise out of Fort Lauderdale. I would like to be able do some laundry between cruises to cut down on the amount of clothes required (especially due to airline weight restrictions). I hae been looking at hotels with self serve laundry, but I haven't found any close to the cruise port in Fort Lauderdale (love to wake up in the morning and see the cruise ships in port!:))

Does anyone know of a hotel near the port with self serve laundry, or a laundromat/laundry service nearby? Any suggestions?

Extended Stay America on 17th St has self service laundry. Very close to Harbor Shops were there is a Publix and just down the street from a Walgreens- god for restocking toiletries, sunscreen etc. Several good restaurants within walking distance.
