debt Posted February 21, 2011 #1 Share Posted February 21, 2011 I've seen videos of the port area inBelize and noticed there were some people offering tours to arriving cruise passangers. Can anyone tell me what the cost might be for a tour of Belize City and the Baboon Sanctuary.(NOT the Belize Zoo)

Can anyone tell me what the cost might be for a tour of Belize City and the Baboon Sanctuary.(NOT the Belize Zoo) Companies I've seen doing this tour, experiencebelizetours and belizecitytours require advanced booking, not booking at the pier. Costs were around $70-$75 pp.

Hope this isn't against the rules, but would like to hear any tips you have on the Dream; quiet places, best bars, etc.

Since you're traveling in the fall, the Serenity deck could be one of your quieter places. Also, the Lanai promenade has some benches at various points that can be quiet. Not comfortable for long spells but quiet. And the bar on the port side of the Ocean Plaza by the art gallery opposite side of the sushi bar wasn't used as much. They do the drinks special tastings like martinis there. Piano bar can be good too. Aft Sunset bar is on the smoking side so avoid if you don't smoke.
