Mayan Beach Garden?

Can you walk on the beach from the pier to this place or do you have to take a taxi?? If you can walk on the "highway" is it safe??? Do the cruise lines offer this place as an "excursion"??

 

I saw this posted under a different thread and since my teens want to rent jet skis I thought we'd try this place.. instead of the probably overcrowded Tapas! (We were at Tapas and loved it last November.. got there about 10:00 and by 11:00 it was so-o-o crowded!!)..

 

Has anybody been to the Mayan Beach Garden???

Mayan Beach Garden is not within walking distance of the pier. You would need to take a taxi into Mahujual and then get a cab from there to take you to the resort to the north. I believe it was a $20cab fare from town to the resort. http://www.mayanbeachgarden.com/

Might I suggest that you contact Marcia there. She will help arrange transportation from the fishing town. She also only accepts so many people so you will definitely want to save that date with her first! Good luck!
