2serendip Posted February 21, 2011 #1 Share Posted February 21, 2011 Hi -- a traveling companion has told us that he was told that we cannot use our shipboard credit to pay for any Windsurf excursions. Is that true? I understand we also cannot use it for gratuities. What is it used for, then, besides wine and liquor? Thanks for info --
Little Nat Posted February 24, 2011 #2 Share Posted February 24, 2011 We got our bill at the end, and it had everything on it...excursions, drinks, tip, laundry etc. Then our shipboard credit was deducted at the bottom. So I think it applies to everything! Have fun!
2serendip Posted March 2, 2011 Author #3 Share Posted March 2, 2011 Thanks for your reply, Little Nat. I called Windstar and found that I can use the shipboard credit for anything onboard, but it will not pay for anything I book ahead on line. As she told me, that's why it's called "shipboard." Duh! It makes sense, but I'm not thrilled about it as I would have liked to do the shore excursions now.
