When to book to get a better deal?

I am planning to book a cruise in May to mexican riviera. Since that is considred to be an off or low season, I was wonderng if I should book right away or wait for the prices to fall further as it gets closer to the departure date.

What is the general guideline here? Is it too early to book for a late may departure?

Thanks

May is not really off season. Off season is fall during hurricane season or winter, January especially when its coolish.

Since you have not yet booked, I would look for a pack n go last minute rate that comes out on Wednesday. Here are some prices which can be booked at midnight tonight.

Carnival Paradise

Based on these dates, Id say you have about another month to wait before May goes on last minute sale.
