Just booked this 15-day from Miami to San Diego via Panama Canal. Going by myself since friends and family all have jobs/school. My first time on Celebrity; reviews, general info here generally very positive. 2nd straight cruise (1st was HAL from LA to Vancouver in 2008) but have been on many RSVP/Atlantis ones (last was to Mexico Oct 2010). The transit of the Canal will, of course, be the big event. Otherwise, expect this to be a quiet, relaxing cruise to ports and places I have not been to before. Maybe too quiet?

 

Have registered for the Celebrity Connections Meeting/Party and posted to the "regular" Roll Call thread. Lots of discussions there about excursions, violence/dangers in certain ports, pre- and post-cruise travel plans, etc.

 

Anyone else going?
