We really only need trip insureance for in case of death or illness of these people. I went to insuremytrip.com but was throughly overwhelmed. Any thoughts? Every plan has a dyfferent definition of "family member" but it's easy to find in the fine print. Here's from one Travelex plan: "Family Member: means Your or Your Traveling Companion's legal or common law spouse, ex-spouse, Domestic Partner, parent, legal guardian, step-parent, grandparent, parents-in-law, grandchild, natural or adopted child, step-child, children-in-law, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, aunt, uncle, niece or nephew, or Business Partner who reside in the United States, Canada or Mexico." If the plan covers family members something like the above will be in there somewhere.
