Two facts

1. 17 nts parking at Southhampton Docks £173

2. 17 nts parking at Hull Docks £85

Why the difference? the words Rip & Off spring to mind:mad:

Hi

Try The Jury Inn in Southampton they do a B&B for the night before you sail, parking and a shuttle run to and from the ship for £149.00.

I can't vouch for it myself as I only found out about it whilst looking at hotels after I had booked parking. I agree though I thought the parking was a rip off. I paid over 3k for the cruise and just kept adding £100's after:(

I hope you have a good holiday!

It's more expensive because there is more demand.

However many travel agents give free parking as an incentive to book through them, and as mentioned many hotels give free parking for the duration of your cruise.

If your travel agent does not offer free parking then find a hotel, such as travel lodge that does offer free parking, stay there the night before your cruise - leave your car in their car park - take a taxi to the port and save yourself £100 overall. That way 17 days parking costs £73 - cheaper than Hull :)
