How early can you request docs?

Booking through Carnival PVP, how early can you request your documents?

Remember an old thread of people getting them months in advance. Is this true?

CCL will send them to you when they're available. You don't request them.

Well, actually, you CAN request them sooner, IF you book thru a PVP.

 

For one cruise, the day I made final payment, I asked my PVP if she could send the docs right away, and she said they don't usually do that, but OK. I rec'd them within 5 days.:)

 

Not something they do on a regular basis, however.

Just the info I wanted to hear as my Jan 06 cruise is a suprise for my daughter and I wanted them early to give as gift.
