Dream Extended Balconies

Hi,

Trying to decide on a cabin selection for a first time Disney cruise - we'd like to try the Dream!

I've seen a couple of comments about "Extended Balconies", deck 5 category 5.

Can someone please explain to me the differences in balcony size between categories and decks please? I get the interior cabin differences - that's fine. Its the balcony sizes that I'm having trouble understanding! I've looked at the deck plans, but still can't figure it out!

Also, Deck 6 -- how much is the view of the ocean obstructed by the lifeboats? Are the lifeboats under the balcony on 6 or sticking out? I've looked at some photos, but having trouble getting an idea of the depth.

Thanks very much!

Hi there we are in #5650 deck on 5 The lifeboats are on Deck 5 but the balconies are fore and aft of them . For example our balcony is next to the last lifeboat on the right or Starboard side heading Aft . The middle of Deck 5 is mainly Oceaneer lab so there are no rooms for most of Deck 5 and thats were the lifeboats are . The balconies on deck 5 extend out so you view is not blocked by the lifeboats.
