bc0508 Posted March 4, 2011 #1 Share Posted March 4, 2011 Looking for some inexpensive ideas for cozumel we will be there at end of the month. We are wanting to go to the beach dont care bout snorkeling or swimming with any animals. Would like to do some shopping and beach. I would do a paid excursion if it the beach and maybe a meal. JohninDC Posted March 4, 2011 #2 Share Posted March 4, 2011 Shopping and dining options are walking distance from the pier. Most beaches are a $15 cab ride away - $5 per person in a shared van. Paradise Beach offers lounge chairs for only $2 per person, requests that you spend at least $10 per person on food an drinks (tasty and good!), and offers a new pool, restrooms, and changing facilities. Good luck! :)

kitcatsz Posted March 4, 2011 #4 Share Posted March 4, 2011 For Beach Breaks: Nachi (book through Island Marketing). Nachi is a more relaxed atmosphere. It's all you can drink and a 3 course meal. Mr. Sanchos (couple of ways to book but we've used Cozumel Water Sports in the past). Mr. Sanchos is more of a lively atmosphere. It's all you can drink and eat. Both have great beaches and service. And, they are not available through the cruise lines so less crowds. As John in DC mentioned, there is a cab fee to and fro. The cost depends on where you dock.
