Charles4515 Posted March 9, 2011 #4 Share Posted March 9, 2011 Has anyone actually been there in May? Yes. Twice. I won't go in May anymore because the water temperature is too cool for me and the beach is something I want to do. May is great for golfing and general touring but not the beach. durberville Posted March 9, 2011 #5 Share Posted March 9, 2011 Oh dear....I never even thought of it being too cool to swim or snorkel in May when I booked our cruise. :( Well....husband is the hearty type and will swim in anything....I suppose I can sit on the beach and watch him! Haha! If it's above 70 it will be okay - not Caribbean warm, but okay.
CruisFran Posted March 9, 2011 #6 Share Posted March 9, 2011 Water temp in May should be fine, for somone from the northeast! Our water doesn't go much above that even in mid-summer! :D Go...Enjoy....no guarantee of weather, but know you'll have a great time!

It was too cool for me. Also in May there are often lots of Jelly Fish.
Roses70 Posted March 15, 2011 #8 Share Posted March 15, 2011 We have been there twice before in early May, and are going again this May. The weather was beautiful (mid to high 70's), but we do not go into the water; just stay on the beach. Regardless, you will love Bermuda whatever the month!
