NursePilot Posted March 8, 2011 #1 Share Posted March 8, 2011 Hey Everyone, We are looking at booking interconnecting staterooms on the Radiance for the Apr 2012 cruise. The only interconnecting balcony rooms that seem to be available are the two sets at the aft end of deck 7 (7166/7168 or 7666/7668) and the two sets on deck 8 right beside the forward elevators (8036/8038 or 8536/8538). We are inclined to think that the cabins on deck 8 would be a little quieter, even being by the elevators, compared to the rooms on deck 7 sitting on top of the lounges. Has anyone stayed in these cabins? Did you hear the people waiting for the elevators? Thanks for any help :)
SamFritz Posted March 8, 2011 #2 Share Posted March 8, 2011 I've never found noise in the hall to be a problem. Two weeks ago we were just two rooms removed from the centrum on deck 4 of Radiance. Never a bother.
cb at sea Posted March 8, 2011 #3 Share Posted March 8, 2011 The elevators are in their own foyer....noise isn't an issue! (I don't know why they don't show the walls on the deck plans!!!) Being near the stairs and elevators is a huge timesaver...a big PLUS, IMO!
