michelle1836 Posted March 8, 2011 #26 Share Posted March 8, 2011 Our family really enjoyed Apples to Apples. love it. you can take just the cards so it doesnt take up much room what about a scavenger hunt? Its not a board/table game but still lots of fun
cruisingcouple2008 Posted March 8, 2011 #27 Share Posted March 8, 2011 Dice game called LRC Left Right Center cost 3.00 to enter you roll the 3 dice and whatever it says you do with a dollar if one says L you pass a buck to person on left if the other says Right you pass it to person on Right if one says center youput it in the middle of the pot last one with a buck wins the pot. there are also several sides that have DOTS and that means you keep your buck . If all three dice came up dot dot dot you keep all your money it was great with our group and usually netted between 50-80 bucks a game. We would all meet at aft pool at 430 pm everynight it was great cant wait to do it again with the Hawaii Group
hankandteri Posted March 8, 2011 #28 Share Posted March 8, 2011 Not anymore. Or at least not on my last cruise. The casino was selling them for like a buck a pack or so. That's a bummer. Decks of playing cards were free on Triumph in December. The guy at the information desk gave me two decks. Looks like you sailed last month, so this must be a very recent change. Venus0523 Posted March 23, 2011 #29 Share Posted March 23, 2011 I recently hosted a scavenger hunt on one of the group cruises - It was a blast and only takes up the space of few pieces of paper. I included items each person could take pictures of, have with them, or retrieve from the ship (lots of possibilities) and used the "honor system" for counting. Everyone shared the photos after and were consolidated onto one disk. Enjoy your cruise!
Time2CruiseAgain Posted March 23, 2011 #30 Share Posted March 23, 2011 You can get decks of cards at the Purser's Desk - so head on down after you board and get a deck or two!! They always come in handy!
Time2CruiseAgain Posted March 23, 2011 #31 Share Posted March 23, 2011 OK - I missed a couple posts - Are they truly not giving away decks of cards any longer? Geez - what is next - first they stop with Past Guest pins and now the decks of cards? hmmmmm......
