journeymore Posted March 8, 2011 #1 Share Posted March 8, 2011 Does the trolly come within walking distance of the Hilton Airport? If so, where could we get on? Thanks for any information.
monicajay Posted March 8, 2011 #2 Share Posted March 8, 2011 No trolley to the airport. Also, unfortunately the Sun Trolley is not a very reliable service. Last Saturday (02/26) we waited at Harbour shops for 40 minutes for a trolley towards the beach. We had planned to use it to get home to but the driver informed us that despite the fact the advertise it runs till 10 pm, they were shutting down at 6:30 pm on that day. For our return trip we waited 40 minutes for the local bus before flagging a taxi. Not very good public transportation.

The public bus schedule changes on weekends so that a bus that usually arrives every 30 minutes might arrive every 60 minutes. The trolley does not have a route by the airport Hilton. Music City Posted March 8, 2011 #4 Share Posted March 8, 2011 Does the trolly come within walking distance of the Hilton Airport? If so, where could we get on? Thanks for any information. The Hilton Airport is very isolated and there's not really anything within walking distance other than what's on property at the Hilton or the Sheraton across Griffin Road. Unless you have a rental car or take a taxi you're pretty much stuck at the hotel.
