Insurance Cver for car when parked.

The recent publicity regarding valet car parking has concerned me.We have used the service before and were very pleased.but have read that the car is not covered for theft when parked as the keys have been left with a third party.It's o.k when being driven about by company staff.

Any comments?

We use CPS. Hubby is a lawyer, and a stickler for insurance and all things being right. We have never had any worries, and would recommend them. They have to take responsibility once the keys are handed over to them, and you are paying them for a service, part of which is to keep your car safe. If you are in any doubt, just jot down your mileage when you get out at the terminal, and check it when you get back in, to make sure it hasn't had a little motoring holiday of its own whilst you've been cruising!

I agree entirely with the comments made by phoebecat, and would add that we have used CPS on many occasions and have always been more than pleased with the excellent service received.
