San sebastian street festival

Think "mardi gras" ... more people than you can imagine.

 

Looks like it will be January 20-22 in 2012.

 

Called San Juan tourist center and they say the Festival starts on the 14th of Jan. could not get the areas of daily activies and what streets which will be close.

Don't believe them.

It always is the 3rd weekend of January. Starts on a Thursday.

Always.

So it is possible/probable it will be Jan 12-15 (if they count the 1st as the first weekend).

 

It will be on San Sebastian street, and artisan things set up in the San Jose Plaza and across the street in the courtyard.

I was there last year! There will be booths set up all over the area with delicious local foods, artwork, crafts and your typical street fair activities. I think you will have a winderful time! Unfortunately it was raining the day I was there and it kind of hampered the activities. I'd love to go again on a sunny day.
