If you can, do it.

I would also recommend taking the earliest flight possible.

To quote John Wayne from one of his movies, "Sounds like good advise."

We always fly in a day early have had to many "changed" flights over the past few years. It wasn't an issue for us in '09 but we sat on a dead plane on the tarmack in Dallas for over 2 hours. Plane had to be towed in to a ramp and we were all "rebooked" on a later flight. About 50 people on the flight were taking TA cruises to Europe. When we got in to Miami they were told the ships (4 if I remember right) were still in port as so many flights had been delayed that day. Those folks were very lucky!

Don,

Best wishes for everything working out okay for you...I believe we are on the same cruise - 3/13 Splendor. Let's have a DOD after you are safely onboard! There is a cc meet and greet on Monday at 2:30 at the Splendido pool Hope to see you!

I'm dying to know...WTH happened??

I'm guessing airplane problems?

The plane had a lightning strike on the way into IAD. Fried some electronics.

All worked out in the end though ... Now where did I put that Dod. :)
