big_duck Posted March 13, 2011 #1 Share Posted March 13, 2011 If you can, do it. I would also recommend taking the earliest flight possible. Written from the Hilton Dulles Airpot instead of the Hilton Long Beach

norcal2 Posted March 13, 2011 #4 Share Posted March 13, 2011 OH NO! I am so, so sorry. But you were smart. Try to rest before tomorrow even if it is at an airport.

JRock59 Posted March 13, 2011 #9 Share Posted March 13, 2011 We always fly in a day early have had to many "changed" flights over the past few years. It wasn't an issue for us in '09 but we sat on a dead plane on the tarmack in Dallas for over 2 hours. Plane had to be towed in to a ramp and we were all "rebooked" on a later flight. About 50 people on the flight were taking TA cruises to Europe. When we got in to Miami they were told the ships (4 if I remember right) were still in port as so many flights had been delayed that day. Those folks were very lucky! Fried some electronics. All worked out in the end though ... Now where did I put that Dod. :)
