Roll Call: QE2 Norwegian Wonders, May 21, 2005

Hi,

 

Are any other Cruise Critic "family" members booked on this cruise? This will be my 7th voyage on the QE2 and my 10th trip with Cunard (I have also cruised aboard the QM2, Vistafjord, and Sagafjord). I have sailed with a variety of other lines (including Celebrity, Crystal, Holland America, NCL, Princess, and Royal Caribbean), but Cunard remains one of my favorite lines and the QE2 one of my favorite ships.

 

I am 40 years old and my partner is 50 years old (he has sailed aboard the QM2, but this will be his first time on the QE2). We are going to spend one day in London before the cruise (have tickets to see "Mary Poppins").

 

Over the weekend, we received our preliminary pre-cruise documentation. Many interesting shore excursions are being offered. We are probably going to do a highlights tour in Bergen, but we are trying to decide which tours to do in Hellesylt/Geiranger, Aalesund, and Flaam. Have any of you been to these ports? Do you have any recommendations?

 

Although I am interested in the ports, I am particularly looking forward to sailing aboard the QE2 again.
