Alcohol-Legend

I have not cruised in a few years however my son and wife are sailing on the Legend at the end of April. We use to be able to take alcohol on board however I understand from friends that the lines are now confiscating alcohol. Has anyone had an experience where they were able to take alcohol on board and if so how did you do it.

Each passenger over the age of 21 may bring one 750ml bottle of wine or champagne at embarkation only.

You can order liquor from Bon Voyage or Room Service/Guest Services, depending on the ship. Much cheaper than the bar, and still not smuggling. :)
