MommaSkin Posted March 17, 2011 #1 Share Posted March 17, 2011 To anyone involved in the Carnival Ecstasy Debacle of 2/19/11 to 2/24/11: Check your credit card to ensure you have received a proper refund! We opted to skip the shortened cruise and take a full refund, but because of Carnival's pathetic recordkeeping, they had us on the list of people who sailed and only gave us a partial refund. I wouldn't have known if I hadn't checked my card. It took about 6 phonecalls and hours on the phone but they called me yesterday to say that the rest of the refund was being processed. Funny, they figured out their error and promised a refund right after I told them that the next call would be from my attorney and he would involve things like "Distress, suffering, and breach of contract" - and a lot more money.
