Carnival called today asking if we want to upgrade from an oceanview on deck 1 class 6L to aft balcony cat 8m on deck 6 for $300 was it worth it and is it a noisy room, I see it's over the lounge? Thanks for any responses ps: it is a 1 week eastern caribbean on the dream

You might hear a little from the theater, though I never have. I was under the front of the stage last time and only one night heard it about 10 pm, but nothing ever after midnight.

 

I think either a inside or a balcony, i hate to pay extra for a OV.

How long is the cruise?? If it is a week cruise...I think it is a good upgrade. The theater will be closed when you sleep so you don't need to worry about it being noisy!

Its a reasonable deal depends if the extra cost is worth it to you since you are already paying for your cruise.

 

$ 300 pays for a bunch of drinks or trips.
