incruzcontrol2 Posted March 21, 2011 #1 Share Posted March 21, 2011 Hello...We'll be sailing from the Long Beach port in CA. Where do you suggest we park? I've never left from there before and not sure where the safest parking spots are? Is there a parking area for people who sail? Or should I park at the airport? Where have you parked before? Prices? Thanks so much!

Thanks so much! There is a parking structure right there at the port and it runs $15.00 per day.

Thanks so much! Stay at the Maya which is right next to the port and you can leave your car there for the week for free and they will shuttle you to the ship and back when you return.:)
Rosefloater Posted March 21, 2011 #4 Share Posted March 21, 2011 If you are staying at a hotel before the cruise, then look for a hotel that has a cruise package, like the Maya. Search the West Coast boards for a discount code for the Maya. Otherwise, the only parking that is available is at the pier which is covered parking at $15/day. And unfortunately if you are parked longer than the time on your parking stub, you will be charged for additional parking time. This happened to us once when we arrived at 11 a.m. on embarkation day and for reasons beyond our control, we didn't get off the ship until after 12 and were charged for the duration of the cruise plus the extra hour.
