do you know if we can rent scooters on st.thomas ...... bvi ialand .... antigua ...nassua .... if so could you tell me where and who do we contact to rent these and do they bring them to your cruise port we really want motorized something to ride around and see the island we are on...... thank you for info

Most islands have something you can ride, but I dont picture scooters in St. thomas. We had these open air busses for our excrusions from the cruiseline and I can tell you my roomie thought we were going to either fall off a cliff or hit someone when the mountain roads converged.

 

For one thing they drive on the opposite side of the road, then add in those mountain roads to see the sights. Im probably a chicken, but I would take a excursion for that island.

 

Nassau you should be fine.

At most ports you can rent scooters at the end of the pier - Nassau you have to go through the main building and it is outside on your right - but please be very careful - most of these Islands follow British driving rules - driving on left side of the road - it is very easy to fall back into old habits

ok ty iam going to take your advice and get scooters in nassua but maybe not in st. thomas i wouldnt want to drive off a cliff ...on the wrong side of the road ....lol thanks again for the info
