Bilbao

We have always used the cruise ship shuttle bus as it is quite a way between the port and Bilbao. I can't remember the price but it didn't seem too expensive and the buses ran regularly. The ships dock quite a way from the main road and town in Getxo.....probably a 20 minute walk.

We really liked Bilbao and went first to the Guggenheim Museum and then caught the tram along the river front to the old town. That was easy and cheap.

It depends who you're cruising with ....we were there with P&O last June, and their bus took 45mins, and was free. As you get nearer to the town, you see the river, then the museum. It isn't too far from the drop-off point, in one of the main shopping streets, to the museum.
