still looking for Kodiak adventure for cruiser

We will be on the Amsterdam also and booked a tour with Memory Makers. He takes a max of 6 in his van. I sounds like it will be a good tour. If you are into photography he will keep that in mind during the tour so that you have good opportunities to take pictures.

We rented a car and explored on our own. There is a great online (and printed) driving tour available, and many wonderful scenic vistas. Our favorite stop was fossil beach, where we found many cool fossils.

kodiak is very, very weather variable. What you can do and how you can do it will very with weather conditions including fog.

So true... We had drizzle and rain and fog the entire day...probably why we found so many fossils...but still loved the port. Kodiak and Valdez were such a refreshing change from the usual!

Very few people ever get to visit Kodiak especially by cruise ship. Whatever you are able to do will be a bonus!
