When did their price guarantee policy change?

My last cruise was in May 2010. I just booked a cruise last week (had to pay final payment b/c it is next month) in an E2 for $449/person as the base price. The price is now $409/person. I called to get the price adjustment and was told that they changed their policies and cannot honor price adjustments (lower) after final payment. When did this change????

I called to get the price adjustment and was told that they changed their policies and cannot honor price adjustments (lower) after final payment. When did this change????

For all cruises booked prior to May 17, 2010 all price reductions are honored up until 72 hours prior to departure.

 

For all cruises booked on or after that date, price reductions are only honored up until final payment.
