Docking in Vienna

We will be taking a Tauck danube Tour and would like to opt out of the music evening to attend an opera. How accessible is the centre of Vienna from where river boats dock?

From my recollection, about 3 blocks away there is a U-Bahn (Underground) station that will take you to the center of the city.

As I mentioned in the Paris docking question, most lines dock fairly close to each other. Granted there are difference. That said, Viking docks at DDSG pier on Handelskai, approximately a 30-euro taxi ride from the airport. Looking at Map Quest sat image there appears to be a long docking area there where several ships can tie up.
