Taxi's From Miami Airport

Not sure wher to post this but I am looking for the best priced Taxi service from the Miami Airport to the Downtown area (we are staying at the Intercontinental) there will be 4-5 of us. I have found $45 thru Quality Limo Service any other suggestions ???

A regular taxi is about $24 ... so Im guessing you must have asked for more than a regular taxi.

 

I took the bus for $2 :D stayed at Intercontinental.

Look on Miami airport web site. It has taxi rates to different areas listed because they are all flat rates. I think rates are up to 5 people so some must have vans

When you walk out of the terminal there are taxis of all sizes just sitting there. You will have no problem getting a van for 4. I don't know the exact rate to go to Intercontinental, but I can safely say it will be less then $45.

I am a family of 5 that cruised from Miami in November. They have minivan taxi's all over the place. Cost me $24 plus tip from the Port to MIA for the 5 of us plus luggage. That would be the way I would go.

My experience was it is flat rate to the pier from the airport and vice versa but not to a hotel from the airport but the price was only a couple dollars more than the flat rate.
