What to do in Toulon

We are first time cruisers. We are trying to work our way through our ports of call and what to do where.

 

Does anybody have any ideas what to do in Toulon. Is it worth just staying there or are there nearby places of interest that we could visit?

 

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
