Beach Wheel Chair

Does anyone know if they rent the wheelchairs with the big tires that can be used on the beach while in GSC? If not, my father will be confined to the ship while we are all enjoying the beach.

I believe I saw them last week at GSC. Best bet would be to ask right when you get on the ship, but I'm pretty sure they were there right of the dender dock.

I think (but am not certain) that they are available for free, but they do have them.

I think they are complimentary to the disabled and less mobile passengers. One was offered to my sister confined to a wheelchair. They offered her full assistance getting in/out of tender and chairs but she politely declined due to her vanity!

Thanks everyone for the information. I know my mother really wants to go to the beach, but wouldn't leave my father on the ship alone. There are 14 of us going, so there are plenty of us to help him get on/off the tender.

They are limited so be sure to go early!

Just back off the Jewel and can confirm that they do have them. One bit of advice though: if you are not on one of the first 10 tenders, tell your father to stay on the ship. It is that crowded on GSC.

Yup, they have them but no idea if there is a cost.
