How far from New York to New Jersey Port??

Thinking about a cruise out of New Jersey port. Air fare keeps poping up from New York. How far is from New York to New Jersey port?

Is there a shuttle ao reasonsable taxi price??

Try booking a flight that comes into Newark Liberty Airport (EWR). You'll be able to get a taxi from the airport to the pier. I don't know mileage-wise how far but I know it is not very long. Newark Airport is my home airport and I do all my flying thru there............Karen

You can take a taxi from Lga o JFK<but it will be expensive!

If you're sailing out of Bayonne, flying in to Newark is the only option to consider. JFK & LGA are just too far to drive/taxi to. Plus EWR has the advantage of being a hub for Continental and just about every other airliner flies in to it as well.

Airfare to from JFK/LGA is going to be cheaper than EWR. JFK is too far IMHO but LGA is possible. It will be expensive & possibly time consuming (depending on time of day, day of week & time of year) to get ground transportation to NJ. You are going to have to get exact fares & costs to make an intelligent decision.

JFK to Port Liberty .. 30 miles .. $65 plus tolls

 

LGA to Port Liberty .. 21 milies .. $70 plus tolls

 

I am not sure how much tolls are though. Price it all out and then decide which way you want to go.
