Discount admission for Busch Gardens & Sea World

I know some of you who travel to Tampa or Orlando for a cruise sometimes inquire about availability of discount tix for the various theme parks. I came across this one today if you're planning a trip to either Busch Gardens or Sea World. It's $20 off a single day ticket to either park - part of a promo the parks do in conjunction with McDonalds and the Ronald McDonald House (which provides accomodations for families of seriously ill children who are hospitalized for treatment).

 

I think for Florida residents who visit regularly (or for those who are buying multiple day passes) there are possibly better deals, but if you're just here for a day pre/post cruise & only need a one day pass, it's a pretty good savings.

 

Just go to either www.seaworldorlando.com or www.buschgardenstampabay.com, go to the "Begin Purchase" button, and choose "enter promo code". The promo code is McDonalds2011.

 

Added benefit - portion of the ticket proceeds is donated to the McDonalds House Charity, which is a truly wonderful organization.

 

Tix must be purchased by May 31, 2011, and are good through August 31, 2011. I think nonrefundable & nontransferable.
