I heard a rumor that Carnival has started offering an alcohol package similar to the soda package. Any truth to this?

I heard this too, but not sure... I've read about an "On Us" thing, but there are reports it's the Casino offer (rack up 1500 pts on the slots and get free drinks in the Casino only).. but I saw others talk about an alcohol package similar to the soda card as well... would be nice to get some correct info!

Nope, nothing's changed with the alcohol. There is a "bar card" for groups of 30 or more, and everyone in the group must purchase it. But that's also been in place for awhile now. I think one of the other cruielines was supposed to test an alcohol package for European sailings or something wacky like that. Maybe that's where you "heard" the "rumor".
