Adventures ahead Posted April 4, 2011 #1 Share Posted April 4, 2011 Should we expect calmer seas (and, possibly, less rain) if we choose one of the two 14-day April sailings from LA to Hawaii, in comparison to earlier in the winter (Feb-March)? The latter sailing ends on May 9 and is the last run for the season. BTW, I've met Mother Nature before and know she likes to keep us guessing! sassyredhat Posted April 4, 2011 #2 Share Posted April 4, 2011 We have sailed this itin twice, and are booked for the third, all in April. For me, it is less humid on the islands, but no matter when you go, pretty much the first day out can be rockier, and possibly the first day coming back. It's not tooo noticable indoors. It may be windy outside. That said, we have booked balconies on all trips. We love love the itin. Pat
Rockymountainsparky Posted April 4, 2011 #3 Share Posted April 4, 2011 Unfortunately, no one has that crystal ball. Just hang on and enjoy the ride.
Cruisin' Chick Posted April 5, 2011 #4 Share Posted April 5, 2011 Since you're sailing through a current, it doesn't matter which month you're sailing. It's just more a matter of luck.
