kittyness Posted April 4, 2011 #1 Share Posted April 4, 2011 I'm sailing on the Conquest starting May 22. I didn't get the Early Saver rate because I was just a little too late. I still check the rates daily to see if an upgrade due to price drops makes sense. Today, I noticed there is no Fun Saver option. What does that mean, if anything? Thanks! *Mach* Posted April 4, 2011 #2 Share Posted April 4, 2011 I just ran a faux booking for that date and the Fun Saver was available for me... $999/person for a balcony cabin... :)
*Mach* Posted April 4, 2011 #3 Share Posted April 4, 2011 I ran the Fare Viewer and I see that the inside cabins are no longer available as Fun Saver. Like many things with Carnival, Fun Saver rates are capacity controlled. In other words, a given percentage of cabins are reserved for that rate. When they're gone the rate disappears. That doesn't mean that it may not reappear, however! Often, TAs turn back blocks of unsold cabins to Carnival as a voyage approaches... :)
