LitchfieldParkCruisers Posted April 5, 2011 #8 Share Posted April 5, 2011 We highly recommend pre-purchasing..it's only a little more than the liquor store and it will still save you mucho dinero!! Last cruise we pre ordered a bottle of Crown Royal..it was nicely wrapped and on the counter when we entered the room!! ( and the bottle was bigger than I expected) We brought mixers and it was so nice to have a cocktail while waiting for the wife to get ready!!(And guys, you know how long that can take!) Last thought..pay 10-15 bucks extra for a bottle to be waiting in the cabin or buy the bottle..try to pack it so it won't be found, worry about it being found or possibly breaking in the luggage, maybe have it confiscated and have to buy ALL alcohol on the ship anyway..see what we mean.....pre-order!! valtandc Posted April 5, 2011 #9 Share Posted April 5, 2011 I really don't understand the sneaking of the bottle thing when you can buy booze this way. To each his own. but why deal with the whole hassle and possibility of breakage or having them take it from you for a few bucks. I mean...you are on vacation....enjoy and relax
