What size are the bottles from BV?

One Litre! Weird! I live in Canada where we use metric, and we call them either a two-six or a fourty. I wonder which one would be a litre? I always thought the two-six was 750 ml, but I'm sure a 40 would be more than a litre. Confused. lol

Are they predelivered to your room and waiting in your room or do they get delivered after sailing?

Do they also bring two rocks glasses or do you use the water glasses fro the bathroom?

If you are listening Carnival, it would be cool to have rocks glasses of your favorite beverage ie. Bacardi Gold, with the name of the ship and a etched picture of the ship on them for keepsakes included with the BV purchase.

1 L = 33.8140 fl oz(US)

1 L = 35.1950 fl oz(UK)

40 fl oz(US) = 1.1829411875 L

40 fl oz(UK) = 1.1365224999999998 L

Yeah, I know, which is why I am confused. I don't think I've ever seen a one litre bottle of alcohol.

I'm just wondering how over priced this is to order from BV. If I by a 40 of Crown Royal here, it's going to cost me $50, so if Carnival is charging $60 that is no big deal. But if they are charging $60 for a two-six, then that is crazy expensive.

Maybe the size of bottles they sell in the states are different from here. I don't know! lol

Pappiliontraveler is right - the Patron bottles are 750 ml.

When I ordered a bottle of Patron from BV, I asked the rep what size it was, to which she replied "1 Liter".

Not so - I had a 750 ml bottle waiting for me in my room when I got to the ship.:(

Not much you can do at that point - either refuse it for a full refund or accept it at the "smaller" size.

Carnival would do well to publish their own price / size list instead of leaving it up to verbally giving out prices and sizes over the phone.

I never so a 40 in the states...Most stores sell 750 of everything and some brands 1L size. then there is the 1.75L size.

The one liter bottle seems to be something unique to duty free shops for the most part. Living along the US/Canadian border as we do, I do see a fair number of one liter bottles at the local duty free shop. of course that only adds to the confusion over whether or not the prices there are a good deal or not when compared to sale prices at the local liquor store.
