One Killed, One injured at Shooting at Southampton Docks

One person has been killed and another is in a life-threatening condition after a shooting on board the nuclear submarine HMS Astute.

Just read this myself, Very sad news!

Incident was at berth 38/9, QE2 terminal. No cruise-ships scheduled to use this berth until the end of the month

Very sad news indeed, hope they find out what caused that sailor to go off like that.

 

I'm just thankful that the school kids that were waiting to board for their tour weren't onboard at the time, the consequences don't bear thinking about.

 

From what I heard earlier, both ships that were in today, Azura and Ventura may have been delayed by about half an hour, as I heard their horns sounding after 5pm, when they were due to leave at 16:30..
