Cascais and Sintra

If you had to pick one which one would you do? Or can you do both in a few hours? We are in port from 12 till 8 pm on the Crown Princess.

 

We would like to take the train and do it on our own.

I would definitely pick Sintra.

We did a ship tour that included both, but we hardly had any time to explore either town.

Cascais is a very nice little port town, but there is more to see in Sintra. It's very hilly and the streets are slippy. There are horse and carriage rides and a mini train to help you explore. Unfortunately with a stop of 35 minutes we didn't have time!
