cruisingforthe25th Posted April 10, 2011 #2 Share Posted April 10, 2011 We sailed on the Victory last fall. Awesome ship & crew. We arrived at the terminal approx 11:30, and were on-board by 12:30. All depends on how quickly they get the prior cruise off. A lot of passengers board, then get off again to tour San Juan. We just stayed on & enjoyed the ship
gtexan Posted April 10, 2011 #3 Share Posted April 10, 2011 Just off victory from San Juan. Board at 12 noon Rooms open at 2:30 It's in an awesome location in old San Juan so we dropped bags at 230 then walked OSJ until 8 (dinner). All aboard was 830-9 for muster
dbrucern Posted April 10, 2011 #4 Share Posted April 10, 2011 We waited a little later as there was such a crowd at 11:00 between those waiting outside that had gotten off and those waiting to get on. Since we were staying at the Sheraton across the street we just sat at their outside patio having a drink and watching the crowds die down before we went over. The sheraton stored our luggage until we were ready to leave.

We arrive early on a Saturday (4am) we are hoping to drop our bags and explore SJ before we can check in then the next day we board the boat. Also were you able to walk to the port or does it require a taxi? Thanks
balcony bound Posted April 10, 2011 #7 Share Posted April 10, 2011 We were onboard by 11:30. The Victory was my favorite itinery ever - have a MARVELOUS time! Ship is wonderful, ports are great - sigh.
huxlemo Posted April 10, 2011 #8 Share Posted April 10, 2011 We were dropped off at the port around 10:30 am. We checked in and found a few seats. We did not sit too long and were on board in no time. We were able to get some lunch and explore the ship.
nytonowhere Posted April 10, 2011 #9 Share Posted April 10, 2011 Ive done the Victory twice and both times we boarded around 11-1130 which is great since you can get some lunch and waste some time, go to your room drop your stuff off and go off the ship for some sightseeing. There's another Sheraton about 10-15 minutes from the pier. Great ship. Enjoy!!!!
