Alisa Pan dress measurements

I am confused on these measurement guidelines....

I would generally be a 12/14 in reg clothes but because of all my ahem, boobage I would need an16 or 18.....

They say to measure across the chest from seam to seam on a garment thats laid flat... so if that is 20inches then do I double that!!!

Am I just tired??? This is not making any sense!!

Yes, you do double that, and no, it isn't that you're tired: Clicking onto the site and reading the measurements IS confusing! You may wind up with a dress that fits well in the chest, but you'll have to take it in (or have it taken in) in the waist and/or hip areas. GOOD LUCK!
