cr8z4cruzn Posted April 14, 2011 #1 Share Posted April 14, 2011 Oasis requires a minimum of 25 people in order for the comedy show to be presented. Has anyone's show ever been cancelled due to this requirement not being met?
Jimnbigd Posted April 14, 2011 #2 Share Posted April 14, 2011 So what happens if they have 25 people, the show starts, then some people leave?
KayJay4 Posted April 17, 2011 #3 Share Posted April 17, 2011 Would this seriously EVER happen? They couldn't get 25 people together out of 6,000?????
burritto Posted April 17, 2011 #4 Share Posted April 17, 2011 We happened to be passing by as one of these shows was starting and while we didn't make reservations, we figured we'd give it a shot and see if we could get a seat. We were told there were already several people waiting outside to take seats in case any people inside left. I can't say it's never been cancelled, but it seems pretty unlikely from my experience. cruisecrazymama Posted April 17, 2011 #5 Share Posted April 17, 2011 This usually is only a problem at the late night comedy shows. Happened a few times on our Oasis Inaugural. We were on board for the first two sailings and tried the late night show several times. Finally, they started doing an improv show with some cast members from Hairspray. It was so much fun. The 25 people min clause is part of the comedians contract with RCI.
cr8z4cruzn Posted April 25, 2011 Author #6 Share Posted April 25, 2011 Ours happens to be a late show and there's 5 of us....I hope there's no issue getting 20 more night owls who will be ready to get their laugh on.
