Working on the budget :rolleyes: What is the tai fare from the airport to Helsinki Town Square ? Thanks so much in advance :)

The distance is about 21 km. Regular taxis will cost:

 

Starting fee:

Monday-Friday 6.00-20.00 5,30€

Weekends 6.00-16.00 5,30€

Other times 8,30€

Airport fee 2,00€

 

Price per kilometer:

Group I (1-2 persons) 1,39€

Group II (3-4 persons) 1,67€

Group III (5-6 persons) 1,81€

Group IV (over 6 persons) 1,94€

 

So this adds up to something between 36,5 and 50 euros depending on the time and the number of people.

 

If you are on a tight budget, buses are recommended.

Finnair City Bus costs 5.90 Euro

Helsinki region bus #615 costs 4.00 Euro.

Both going to the main railway station.
