Could anybody recommend some good local bars?

just at the edge of OSJ close to the pier.Not a hang ot like a Carlos and Charlies or Sr. Frogs. Local place.

Señor Frog's Puerto Rico is located on Comercio Street, in the Paseo Portuario Commercial & Parking Building right next to the Sheraton Hotel.

 

Never been to this one, but have been to 2 others and both were a great time

I will be in San Juan on May 4th. I will be going to Barrachina's... Its the birthplace of the Pina Colada!! My favorite drink... Hopefully they have good food too... But if the Coladas are good, who cares!!! LOL

If you like real, old-time dives check out El Batey on Calle Cristo - great jukebox, interesting bartenders.

Latin Roots, if you want to Dance, they also have food.. there's a cover charge It's behind the Sheraton OSJ...
