JW Marriott or Marquis

I am able to book the JW Marriott, JW Marriott Marquis or the courtyard marriott downtown at a rate of $104.00 which seems pretty reasonable for the downtown Miami area.

Does anybody have any recommendations/guidance as far as which is in a better location? We will need to purchase soda and water before we cruise and will not have a rental car so we will need some kind of store nearby.

Yes, if you can really get the Marriott Marquis at this rate jump on it.

 

It is a very nice hotel that recently open and is located about a mile or so from the Port of Miami.

Thanks for the response. I went ahead and booked the marquis. I am fortunate to have a job with the federal government so I qualify for the government rate.:).

Is there a grocery store or small market anywhere nearby to pick up bottled water or soda?

You will not be too far from a Pharmacy that sells soda and water. I think it is a CVS. You can easily get directions from the hotel.
