When are the formal nights on a 5 day cruise?

I am taking Carnival Destiny for a 5 day cruise.

 

Are there formal nights? When are they?

For a 5 day cruise there should only be one Elegent Nite, usually on the first full sea day. ken

On all my 5-day cruises, there has been one elegant night, and it was always on the 2nd night of the cruise. I've noticed that even if Day 2 is a port day, they still have the elegant night that night. There may, however, be exceptions to that.

On my Destiny cruise in February it was the 2nd night.
